Direct Action
Whether it's packing up meals for those in need or completing pro bono work to make a supportive housing development more accessible, volunteerism is part of the Greiner culture. Our group service projects are just part of the picture; our employees serve on boards and advisory groups for nonprofits throughout Minnesota and Iowa.
Philanthropy
Greiner participates in the Minnesota Keystone Program, donating at least two percent of our pre-tax earnings to charitable organizations. Our philanthropic partners include organizations focused on supportive housing and poverty, community health and wellness, inclusion, and education. Ellipsis is a central Iowa non-profit providing residential care, counseling, and behavioral health services for youth and families. Greiner and Ellipsis have built a strong partnership over the years with a shared commitment to supporting the community.
In 2025, we celebrated our third annual brisket smoking competition, where members of the Greiner team compete for the best brisket, with the Ellipsis team serving as our judges. After the competition, the briskets are served to the Ellipsis team and their residents.
We are proud to support Ellipsis and their mission to strengthen families and create opportunities for kids to thrive while continuing this fun annual tradition.
