We are looking for a Sr. Estimator that may eventually evolve into a Chief Estimator, to be able to not only estimate, but additionally, assist with internal team management and taking leads within estimator meetings.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing project and bid strategies. You will do so by analyzing project proposals and historical cost data. Ultimately, your work will help us develop new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead estimating team
- Lead bid meetings and develop and execute bid strategy
- Attend client interviews and present data/value analysis
- Prepare thorough and timely cost analysis
- Perform take-offs
- Analyze project proposals to prepare budget and cost estimate
- Gather, update, and review historical cost data
Qualifications:
- 10 + years experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management or related field of study
- Experience estimating projects or relevant engineering experience
- Experience with Sage Estimating is a plus
- Strong trade partner relationships in Twin Cities market
- Background in the following key industries: Multi-family housing, corporate office workplace, building repurposing, historical, healthcare/wellness, private education, hospitality; project sizes up to $60M in value.
